Another Refinery Recognized for Service Leadership

When the United Way of Northeast Kentucky held its annual Volunteer Recognition Dinner in April, Marathon Petroleum Corporations’s (MPC’s) refinery in Catlettsburg, Kentucky, was well represented at the event, receiving recognition throughout the night as a leader in service to the community.

One highlight of the evening included a new Director’s Award entitled “Champion of the Year,” a prestigious honor that went to MPC’s Greg Jackson, Human Resources manager, honoring him for his never-ending support of United Way. MPC’s Jennifer Mullins, training specialist, also received the “Volunteer of the Year” award for her work with Big Brothers Big Sisters.

MPC’s many organizations and locations are proud to be a part of United Way’s mission in each of our communities. For more stories on our commitment to service, please visit our Newsroom: news.marathonpetroleum.com.
